Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez has decided to have surgery on his left knee, but the New York signal caller is expected to be ready for training camp.

According to the team, the surgery should happen in the nest couple of weeks.

Sanchez missed one game in 2009 because of a knee injury, however this will be on the other knee. He originally injured the knee to be repaired while playing at USC.

Apparently, his has been playing with it since college.

The Jets don’t appear to be worried about Sanchez’s knees. “I think everyone’s on the same page,” said Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum. “It’s not going to be anything major.”
