NBA Fans Still Love Allen Iverson But Why
The NBA All-Star voting was announced on Thursday and even though he’s played only 19 games during the worst season of his career, Allen Iverson will start for the East.
Iverson started the year in Memphis with the Grizzles, but after just three games, quit. Then he heads back to Philadelphia and he is averaging only 14.8 points with the 76ers.
And the genus fans vote him in. What a joke.
Iverson has been bothered by a sore knee and he said he may not even play in the game set to be held at the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
He’s been an All-Star for 11 straight seasons, but missed the 2007 game because of injury.
The way the NBA does their All-Star voting is just plain awful. There is no way that Allen Iverson is an All-Star this season, let alone a starter.
