After an MRI confirmed he has a strained left hamstring, Chicago Bulls guard Ben Gordon is listed as day-to-day.

Gordon was hurt in the second quarter Sunday, then sent Game 4 into a second overtime with a 3-pointer with 4.5 seconds left.

The Bulls beat the Boston Celtics 121-118, tying the series 2-2 with Game 5 in Boston on Tuesday night. The mere fact that Chicago is still alive in this series is remarkable. Without Gordon, the Bulls are surely done.

Gordon said he felt something pop on a second-quarter drive but vowed not to miss Tuesday’s Game 5 in Boston. The problem for the Bulls in this situation is, if Gordon plays and is not close to 100%, will he hurt the team more than he helps.

Courageous? Yes!

Maybe a little stupid? Yeah that too.
