Apparently, Redsox closer Jonathan Papelbon is still unhappy with former Boston out-fielder Manny Ramirez. Papelbon reportedly call Ramirez a “cancer” in the locker room and his remarks are making headlines.

Wow, really? Tell us something we don’t already know Jonathan. Is it really a secret that Manny Ramirez could possibly be the only player in Major League Baseball that may be the best player on to have on your roster one day, and the worst the next.

Maybe the headlines are more about the fact that someone finally has the guts to come out and say it, but Papelbon’s statements can’t really be a shock to anyone. The cliche’, “Manny being Manny” is getting kind of old. Manny Ramirez is, and will continue to be all that is wrong with the game of professional baseball. Maybe the day will come when owners just won’t put up with his non-sense anymore, but I doubt that.

There is definitely something wrong with a fates injuries to stay out of the line-up just to punish his team because he is not happy. Manny has been know to do that.
