Could Rooney’s Injury Hurt Manchester United Chances
Manchester United won another match on Wednesday, but it may have come at the expense of one of their best strikers. Wayne Rooney was hurt limped off the field shortly after scoring Manchester’s only goal a minute into the game.
The injury could have devastating effects to United’s chances in the Premiere League. The club has now said that Rooney will miss three weeks with the hamstring injury. I say, uh-oh.
Liverpool is clearly the team to beat at this point, but odds makers have been high on Manchester’s chances to catch them. Now, with the Rooney injury, I believe that it will be left to Chelsea as the major competition in the coming weeks for Liverpool.
